Current
Susurrus presents a 45-minute interactive performance of Current to
students grades K-12 through Young Audiences of Indiana. This thought
provoking dance was researched and created from the Journals of Lewis
and Clark. Students will experience some of the struggles of the Corps
of Discovery interpreted through the language of modern dance.
River
Susurrus pesents a modern dance to preschool children through Young
Audiences of Indiana's Early Childhood Program. This performance shows
how dancers use their bodies to tell a story. Susurrus will lead
children in a modern dance warm-up and cool-down. Young children will
learn what makes modern dance different from other dance forms: will
see how dancers use their imaginations, learn how dancers use their
bodies to convey emotions, and find out how they work together to
create memorable moving pictures.
